Job Description
Reporting to the Associate Director of IT Financial Planning (“FP&A”), the Manager will oversee a group of Senior Financial Analysts . They will take part in Financial Planning for worldwide IT teams by analyzing the financial viability of new and/or existing IT services. You will prepare financial plans with a 3-year outlook, participate in quarterly updates and prepare reports on financial performance. While the scope may change over time, you will be supporting our hosting teams providing Datacenter, Metal, Cloud, and network services.
Please note that this position will require you to travel approximately 3 weeks per year (Paris, San Francisco, or other) as the pandemic situation permits.
Responsibilities
- Manage the team of financial analysts and ensure priority management to encourage work-life balance;
- Work as a conduit of information and alignment with teammates spread around the world;
- Drive the financial tracking of assigned IT teams, propose and analyze key financial indicators;
- Analyze the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial summaries;
- Prepare and Perform analyses with the objective to align available financial resources with the technological needs of Ubisoft creative studios and our requirements;
- Prepare short & mid-term budgets and update fiscal forecasts for Ubisoft’s worldwide IT teams and their projects;
- Collaborate on the development of new cost tracking tools, forecasting models, and methodologies;
- Coordinate your IT teams’ alignment with strategic objectives of the IT group
- Ensure correct Interco declarations;
- Validate flows with corresponding internal subsidiaries;
- Contribute to the IT costs modeling;
- Build and Review business models of IT products offered to internal clients, service long-term financial viability and propose proper pricing strategy.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated expertise in financial planning and analysis, including budgeting, modeling, and forecasting is required;
- Experienced in Finance for IT such as Infrastructure technologies, especially with physical servers, virtual and cloud hosting, application hosting a plus with the ability to understand technical language and parse tech specifications;
- Extensive knowledge of Excel, VBA, and PowerPoint;
- Good analytical and synthesis skills, ability to communicate clearly & concisely financial concepts to non-financial clients;
- You have preferably worked with Anaplan, Apptio, and/or MicroStrategy.
