Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager

GSN Games is looking for a Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Manager to join our team in San Francisco!

What You’ll Do:
- Compile and analyze financial information including annual budget, recurring forecasts and longer term strategic plans
- Develop integrated revenue and expense analyses and projections
- Create and build financial models to collect and analyze financial result and projections
- Create and analyze monthly, quarterly and annual reports to ensure that financial information has been recorded correctly and assumptions for projections are clearly stated and supportable
- Identify trends and developments from internal/external data and present findings
- Perform financial forecasting and reconciliations, working with business leaders and general managers
- Maintain strong working relationships with internal customers in various organizations and work proactively to identify and solve problems; be a trusted business partner
- Aid in translating business strategy into the financial impact, and expected results, which include identifying financial risks and opportunities, front and back office requirements
- This position may require occasional travel to our offices in Boston, Bangalore (India) and London, plus other smaller international locations as needed
About You:
- 5+ years of financial planning and analysis; initial experience in public accounting a plus
- Degree in Accounting/Finance required, CPA or MBA preferred
- Experience in mobile games (or similar) industry is desirable; experience in licensing of intellectual property also valuable
- Knowledge and understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to effectively review and provide an accurate, well-organized deliverable in a time-conscious fashion
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written) with a high level of financial acumen
- Ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks and meet critical deadlines while maintaining accuracy and quality
- Able to work independently, think strategically and offer proactive feedback
- In-depth experience with Microsoft Office applications (particularly Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Word) and ERP software (Great Plains a plus), and forecasting/reporting tools
