POSITION OVERVIEW
As Financial Performance Analyst you will be supporting the Head of Commercial Analysis and Commercial Analysis team with the monthly forecasting process across PC and Console Digital game sales on some of the industry’s biggest games franchises. You will be responsible for forecasting, interrogating financial sales data, organizing and documenting the monthly sales forecasts and tasked with creating a strong foundation for sharing and communicating key insights to the commercial sales teams, business planning, product teams and studio leads.
This role would suit someone with 2+ years’ experience in forecasting, finance or insights, and would favour someone with strong organizational and communication skills. Someone who is comfortable with independently reaching agreed targets/objectives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Specifically, you will:
- Work with the Head of Commercial Analysis on implementing the monthly forecast to a tight schedule
- Support in the tracking and auditing of sales revenues versus commercial expectations
- Collaborate closely with Commercial, Business Planning and Internal Development studios to align on monthly forecast submissions
- Produce various revenue tracking reports and dashboards for use across the global business
- Prepare presentations for external communication around key insights and updates
- Represent Sega of Europe and manage relevant in external/internal queries on behalf of the department heads
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Essential
- More than 2 years’ experience in a revenue, financial or insights-based role
- High level of planning and organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Expert in Microsoft Excel with excellent ability in PowerPoint
- Able to succeed both independently and in collaboration with others
- A self-motivated individual with good organisational skills able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Beneficial
- Passionate about video games with a good understanding of genres and key video game concepts (free to play, downloadable content, monetisation, market trends etc)
- Experience with reporting/stats packages (e.g. Power BI, Tableau)
- Fluency or working proficiency in Japanese, Mandarin or Korean
- Financial accreditation/qualifications
