Financial Controller

Resolution Games is a VR / AR studio focused on creating immersive experiences for all - from gamers to non-gamers alike. We are now looking for a Financial Controller to join our Operations team.

About the role

In the role as Financial Controller you will work with a wide range of financial tasks in a fast-paced scale-up. You will be responsible for creating monthly, quarterly and annual reports. The role also includes treasury, financial analysis, ad hoc business case tasks, and potential M&A responsibilities. The market is evolving, and each day brings new challenges and opportunities, ensuring no two days are ever the same.

You will be a part of Resolution’s small-knitted, very ambitious, and closely collaborating operations team that includes Finance, Legal, and HR. In this role you will have the opportunity to have a great impact and a steep learning curve.

What you´ll do

• Lead Monthly closing, Management Reporting and analysis to Management and Shareholders
• Manage key financial metrics, including KPIs, P&L statements, balance sheets, and cash flow projections
• Take ownership of budgeting and forecasting processes, collaborating closely with teams to ensure targets are met
• Actively monitor and manage cash flow to support ongoing growth
• Continuously enhance financial and business processes, driving improvements in quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness
• Oversee external accountants in Sweden and the US, ensuring smooth operations across entities
• Collaborate with auditors on year-end-closing
• Project reporting and ensuring project budgets are set

Requirements

• A degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
• Around 5+ years of work experience in financial roles
• Expertise in Excel and strong analytical skills.
• Fluency in both English and Swedish

Nice to have

• Experience in tax and transfer pricing
• Familiarity stock option programs
• Previous experience in VC or PE backed-company
