What impact will you have as a Financial Analyst at Timbre
- Being our first Financial Analyst, you will become deeply immersed in the financials for the company and individual projects; actuals, forecasts, and budgets. This will include updating, verifying and providing ongoing analysis for forecasting and planning.
- You will create and maintain good, no, GREAT relationships with managers, stakeholders, and project managers to understand and respond to their needs
- You’re a key support in all things accounting and other departments, from reconciliations to assisting with journal entries and preparing important information for Board meetings
- You are a primary collaborator with our US sister company and UK parent company to ensure important company information is flowing in a timely manner between stakeholders
Your track record might include
- 5+ years of experience working in a Financial Analyst, or similar role
- Bachelor’s degree in related field (MBA preferred - but not required)
- Experience preparing, executing, and analyzing Canadian tax credits
- Solid understanding of GAAP, knowledge of IFRS beneficial
- Deep knowledge of Excel
- Flexibility in use or creation of different tools and technology, ability to create complex financial models
- Outstanding organizational and problem-solving skills
- Understanding and interest in the games industry and project level finances
