Summary:
Under direction from the finance leadership team, the Financial Analyst I will help drive the rolling forecast process and analyze financial results to help make informed business decisions. The ideal candidate is an excel pro, has a strong analytical skill set, solid communication skills, works well in a team setting, and is eager to learn and grow in this position.
Responsibilities:
- Budgeting: Support the generation of monthly reporting templates and financial analytics to be reviewed with the product and department heads. Assist the FP&A team in building/updating the rolling forecast and loading the related assumptions into Anaplan (Financial Planning Tool)
- Analyze Results: Assist in the preparation of monthly analysis of our financial results against our rolling forecast and plan
- Financial Modeling: Contribute to the building and maintenance of detailed financial models for the purpose of tracking & analyzing results, understanding key trends, and assessing current and future business risks
- Management Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc reporting to the executive team and the board
- Process Documentation: Support the documentation of FP&A processes
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (finance, accounting, or economics)
- 1-2 years experience in a financial planning or business analyst role (preferred)
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills; thrives in a team-oriented environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Advanced Excel skills required, Financial Modeling experience a Plus
- Experience using ERP or planning tools a Plus
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with highly motivated team members
