Financial Accountant

Are you a methodical finance professional looking to use your expertise in an award-winning games studio and entertainment organisation?

We are looking for someone like you to become our all-new Financial Accountant and join our passionate and talented Finance team, where we are building on the years of success that Rebellion has enjoyed.

The Financial Accountant Role is an additional role where you will join our growing Finance Team supporting the financial needs of Rebellion. You will support to Rebellion Central Services and our Financial Controllers, providing timely reporting to ensure deadlines within the finance department are met.

As a Financial Accountant you will be embedded in and have a thorough understanding of the various businesses across the Rebellion group.

This is an intermediate roll that would suit someone who is AAT qualified and working towards their ACCA qualification. You will need to be methodical, and deadline orientated to support the success of the finance team as a whole.

The Finance Team at Rebellion handle all things accountancy related across the entirety of the group. They work with a variety of stakeholders in many different industries. The team deal with all aspects of Rebellion, from gaming and book publishing to entertainment services and property management.

Responsibilities

Performing the following tasks for the Rebellion Group:

• Webshop reporting
• Detailed analysis of products for VAT (UK/OSS/IOSS) Monthly & Quarterly returns
• Reconciliations to cash receipts
• Maintaining SKU’s/product codes across group activities to avoid conflicts
• Invoicing internal recharges to the group
• Overseeing purchase invoice posting to allow for accuracy of internal recharges
• Establishing and monitoring internal pricing to comply with transfer pricing guidance
• Preparing month end accounts to final review
• Reporting accurately on business financials

Requirements

• AAT qualified or equivalent recognised qualification
• Experienced using accounting software
• Good working knowledge of MS Office package
• Keen to learn and develop your skills and knowledge
