Finance & Strategic Planning Intern

Rooster Teeth (a WarnerMedia company) is looking for a Finance / Strategy Intern to join our Rooster Teeth team in Austin, TX for our Spring Internship Program.

We are looking for a Finance Intern who will be responsible for financial planning and will have a high impact on a rapidly growing division within this highly successful digital media company. The ideal candidate would have a passion for and knowledge of YouTube, digital entertainment, and the world of social media influencers. The candidate would also have a proven track record of being a team player to support and fulfill the strategic objectives of a highly cross-functional organization.

Responsibilities:

• Build on and improve KPI tracking and weekly dashboards
• Identify and analyze growth strategy and new business development opportunities
• Create board presentations, model financial forecasts and budgets, develop reporting methods, and have significant influence over strategic decisions of the company
• Consolidate monthly financial reporting with analysis
• Provide analytical support for ad hoc strategic and operational projects as required

Qualifications:

• QUALIFICATIONS:
• Must be on-site in Austin, Texas office throughout internship
• Currently enrolled in college (You must provide a letter of verification)
• Be enrolled in Accounting, Finance, or Information Systems field of study
• Team player with a positive attitude
• Superior communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to exercise strong sound judgment
• Detail-oriented, organized, and demonstrated ability to multi-task and shift priorities quickly
• Bonus Points:
• Experienced with subscription-based revenue
• Familiarity with Media, Entertainment or Retail industries
