About the Role
You will be responsible for supporting the team in creating a best-in-class finance function, developing our controls, processes and the foundations for our continued growth. You will work closely with other members of senior management in supporting our business as it continues to scale. The role requires someone who is not only responsible for our day-to-day operations but also able to support strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Ownership of the Group consolidation close process and production of monthly management reports.
- Review of reporting entity monthly submissions, liaising closely with local accountants and business owners.
- Management of the Group audit and any required subsidiary audits, acting as the main point of contact.
- Coach and develop junior members of the team.
- Provide technical accounting guidance to local teams as required.
- Preparation of the annual consolidated statutory accounts.
- Assisting in the integration of acquisitions for financial reporting as required.
- Drive process and control improvements.
- Ensure compliance with relevant standards and rules within tax, VAT and transfer pricing.
- The role will be very hands-on, so passion and drive are crucial.
Requirements
- Qualified accountant (ACA), Big 4 with a strong academic profile.
- Previous audit experience and PQE working within a Group function.
- Consolidation experience and exposure to multicurrency environments.
- Strong technical (IFRS) and written skills.
- Have a close attention to detail and an analytical mindset.
- Effective communicator, comfortable working with teams across the business.
- Excellent command of Excel
- Self-starter, able to design and implement new processes, not just work within existing ones.
