The Role
We are looking for a motivated and capable Finance Intern to join us for a 12-month placement, to help ensure our books are balanced and our beans are counted (in the real world, not the virtual one)! If you’re looking to progress your accountancy skills and have a proactive, enthusiastic approach to finance we’d love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with accurate processing of supplier invoices, in order to provide the business with meaningful reporting dataManage the processing of credit card entries and expense claims for each month in good time for month-endReconciliation of bank entries in a timely manner via the company's accounting systemWorking with the IT and facilities teams to maintain an accurate Company fixed asset registerMaintaining the integrity of supplier, customer, department and employee records within the new expenses and accounting systemsHelp to implement and maintain key financial processes and controls at nDreams, demonstrating willingness to continually improve the way we do thingsSupport the Finance team and wider Operations team by assisting on other ad hoc work and projectsRequirements
Who are we looking for?
Essential capabilities
- Studying towards an Accounting and Finance degree (or similar)
- Previous experience working in a finance role is desirable (but not essential)
- Willingness to learn and progress within the role
- Results-focused, pro-active and enthusiastic approach
- Excellent attention to detail and an open communication style
- Confident using Microsoft Excel and comfortable using Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
