Finance Intern, Operate Solutions

Come join our Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team as an Intern to learn about financial planning, strategic planning, financial reporting and managing financials by helping to analyze budgets and forecasts. You will also have the opportunity to interact with business leaders across our Operate Solutions business in Sales, R&D and Operations functions as well as interact with other key Finance functions such as Accounting, Procurement and Treasury. This internship will also provide opportunities for career development as well as networking opportunities to understand the industry and the Finance function.

Responsibilities
- Analyze and report on monthly budget / forecast vs actual results; develop actionable insights and recommended actions to address business issues and trends
- Participate in monthly/quarterly/year end close process working in connection with the Accounting team to ensure accurate financials are reported
- Maintain and improve detailed models that track and analyze the spend of the business
- Collaborate closely with other members of the FP&A team, assisting in the administration, improvement, and development of scalable processes and tools used for budgeting and forecasting
- Support broader FP&A initiatives including process improvements and systems implementations (e.g. Adaptive Planning, SalesForce, Workday)
- Provide support to develop new models for new initiatives / ad hoc projects as needed
Requirements
- Current student pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting or related field and returning to the degree program after the completion of the internship for at least one semester.
- Ability to work independently, detailed-oriented, and execution focused
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with ability to present complex financial information in an easy to understand format
- Familiarity with Excel, Google Suite (Sheets, Slides) and other office software tools
- Positive, can-do attitude that can be spread across our organization

- Genuine interest in the gaming or tech industry
- Familiarity / comfort working with large data sets and creating data visualizations
- Experience working in a fast paced environment with a focus on customer satisfaction
