Finance Analyst, D&D

Summary
The Financial Analyst is a key member of the D&D FP&A team whose purpose is to provide accurate financial data and forecasting tools to support business leaders’ financial goals and objectives. This role’s primary focus is to be a key business partner to assigned D&D stakeholders based in the US. This role works collaboratively across a wide range of stakeholders & has a direct influence & impact on the financial outcome of the D&D organization. We are seeking a dynamic and self-motivated individual who is a team player, extremely well organized, and who enjoys serving many internal stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.What you'll do
- Become a trusted finance business partner for assigned D&D stakeholders
- Ensure monthly financial accounting and reporting is accurate and timely, including headcount
- Lead monthly financial reviews to communicate variances to annual plan/forecast, cause of change, and to develop remediation approaches
- Partner with business leads to create annual plans and quarterly forecasts, ensuring that outputs are linked to key drivers and ensuring that all assumptions are visible and agreed
- Provide timely and insightful analysis
- Decision support analysis as requested/identified including preparation of Business Cases
- Perform calculations on studio incentives and track studio profitability
- Provide sound advice on financial transactions ensuring adherence to company policy
- Monitor, track, and accurately report any third-party studio royalties
- Identify and monitor key business drivers to drive efficiencies
- Provide monthly variance analysis as part of financial close for compilation of monthly reviews
- Create presentation materials for use in monthly and quarterly business reviews
- Other ad hoc projects as needed
What we're looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
- Demonstrable skills in the Microsoft Office Suite; particularly: Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- One – Two years experience in finance/accounting or related, including FP&A
- Attention to details to review last sets of data, financial modelling experience.
- A track record of following through on commitments
- Preferred experience (not required):
- Advanced Excel skills
- TM1, WFP & Anaplan (or similar corporate reporting cube environment)
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365)
- SAP Concur
- SQL (Good to have, but not essential)
- Power BI, Tableau, Qlikview or similar BI dashboard tools (Good to have, but not essential)
- CPA or CFA certification (Good to have, but not essential)
- Previous gaming industry experience
