Technical Account Manager - Unity

The opportunity
We are looking for a Technical Account Manager who will work closely with top companies in the industrial field and their business partners to push the boundaries of what is possible in Unity (industries include Automobile,Transportation, Aerospace, General Manufacturing, Architecture, Engineering, Construction, Energy, etc.). This candidate will help customers implement Unity features in their projects and provide excellent experience. Technical Account Manager works with many different teams, so the candidate should enjoy meeting new people, and be prepared to travel. Industrial customers with all kinds of backgrounds are accepting game engine technology, and this role will help accelerate the growth of Unity solutions and services in the market for customer success.
The candidate should be an authoritative Unity user who has an understanding of enterprise application needs. To advise our customers on how best to use Unity, broad familiarity with the engine is a must. When a client hits a problem, this person needs to be on the front line to provide solutions to solve the problem.
What you’ll be doing
- Work with customers to identify unmet customer needs, and provide Unity-based solutions and services to meet those needs
- Efficiently collaborate with clients, sales, and solution engineering teams to provide suitable solutions
- Manage multiple clients and projects across the country
- Understand Unity features at a deep level, and be a trustable partner to the client
- Identify customer requirements and collaborate with Unity product managers to influence product roadmaps
What we’re looking for
- Excellent programming skills. C/C++, C#, graphics programming, etc.
- Hands-on development experience with Unity for gaming or non-gaming applications
- Strong understanding of Unity APIs
- Excellent communication and customer relationship skills, with the ability to work successfully with both customers and internal teams
- Enjoys challenges and solving customer problems
- Be able to prioritise multiple projects efficiently
- Willing to travel
