Facilities Specialist - Janitor (TEMP)

FACILITIES SPECIALIST – JANITOR (TEMP POSITION)

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Keep The VOID office and warehouse spaces clean by performing the following tasks on a regular basis:

• Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and/or vacuuming them
• Clean windows and mirrors
• Disinfect high touch points
• Clean and supply restrooms
• Empty and replace trash can liners
• Replenish cleaning and maintenance supplies
• Organize janitorial storage areas
• Clean refrigerators and freezers
• Notify supervisor about unsafe conditions or concerning the need for repairs or maintenance
• Other duties as assigned

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
• Ability to observe safety and security procedures and to comply with policies
• Strong communication skills (written/verbal)
• Must be able to do physical work and operate standard janitorial equipment
• High attention to detail
• Committed, dependable and able to give and follow directions
• Demonstrated professionalism
• Ability to manage time efficiently and to work individually, as well as within a team
