What We Do
Our Facilities team is responsible for building a unique and creative environment for our growing teams and offices around the world. From Cary to Berlin to Shanghai, our Facilities team selects designs and maintains our global campuses. Facilities take part in guaranteeing the everyday operations at our offices run smoothly, organizing and orchestrating global support as well as leading the build-out of our new 450,000 square foot headquarters located in Cary, NC.
What You'll Do
As a member of this team, you will work closely with the Global Facilities Project Management Lead to support project delivery activity in the region. You will also support the development of project budgets and timelines for submission and gather requirements for funding approval.
In this role, you will
- Support the implementation and improvement of project delivery process and governance
- Work with the global projects team to improve processes to ensure governance, consistency, and standardization
- Gather requirements and support the development of project budgets and timelines for submission to funding approval
- Identify and procure the best in-country local project manager consultants in country for each project to support the delivery of approved projects
- Engage, appoint, oversee, and manage, in-country local project management teams to ensure that projects are delivered safely to scope, time and budget
- Ensure local project managers are on-boarded to Epic’s standards and processes and other suppliers as they engage on projects.
- Submit vendor proposals for legal review and Purchase Order/Contract generation
- Oversee the day-to-day operations and management of multiple construction proje cts, governance on procurement activities and ensure that projects are compliant with Epic standards, local legislation and regulations in all markets.
- Ensure that costs are managed and reported, and that local Project Managers maintain reporting and attend required update meetings. Support the Local Project Managers in collating and monitoring cash flow, commitments, change orders, and invoices associated with project budgets and preparing ACRs (Cost Reports).
What we’re looking for
- 8+yrs experience in occupier project and program management .
- Qualified in Project Management (PMP / APM etc).
- A portfolio or project list outlining key experience and roles on a variety of projects.
- Experienced in client-side management of a program of projects
- Proven ability to drive the development of a comprehensive project brief, develop funding approvals and then manage the delivery of projects across the region to budget and committed delivery dates
- Experience with construction projects and project management tools
- Strong written and verbal communications skills and experience briefing and managing executive leaders on project status and scope
- Approximately 15% of representative’s time will be on-site at the construction locations.
