For 30 years we’ve been creating incredible video games at our multiple studios, but Rebellion is more than just games. We have our own film and mo-cap studio, we create board games, publish books, and through 2000AD, publish comics and graphic novels such as the amazing Judge Dredd.
We operate across multiple UK locations, with studios based in Oxford, Warwick, Liverpool and Wakefield. This role will require the successful person to be flexible and be on site as and when needed; for example visits for external companies such as fire risk assessors, refurbishment contractors, or to complete reviews. We can support a flexible hybrid model for this role.
We are on the lookout for a Facilities Manager to head up our Facilities Team across our multiple studios.
As the Facilities Manager you will be responsible for leading the facilities team across multiple sites, the entirety of the Rebellion’s health and safety procedures, and ensuring the studios & buildings are maintained to the highest standard.
The Facilities Manager role is an integral part of Rebellion’s operation and you’ll ensure that our studio are in line with health & safety, fire safety measures and COVID-19 legislations.
As Facilities Manager you will be the legally responsible person for all Rebellion sites and ensure Rebellion meet their legal responsibilities for health & safety in line with the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974.
In addition to the above, as facilities manager you will ensure Rebellion completes relevant risk assessments to ensure our compliance with the law.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the operation and maintenance of building systems and services, health and safety plus administration support across all sites
- Contract management for hard and soft services
- Negotiate and implement PPM’s and utilities
- Oversee and review tender process
- Manage security measures and systems
- Conduct Streamlined Energy and Carbon Reporting
- Project manage refurbishments including CDM regulations
- Building inspections and compliance monitoring
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and legislation
- Responsibility for fire safety measures, strategy and systems
- Implement and review Company health and safety policies
- Manage and monitor Covid-19 response
- Oversee tenancy management
- Plan and manage Company administration systems and reception services
- On duty out of hours – on call
Requirements
- Experience managing facilities across multiple sites
- NEBOSH National General Certificate in Health & Safety or working towards
- Experience managing a high security area would be beneficial but is not essential
