Facilities Assistant

We are looking for two Facilities Assistants to help take care of the day-to-day running of our two Edinburgh offices, ensuring the delivery of a high level of service and striving for continuous improvement and immediate solutions to dealing with feedback.

This is an active role which will involve light maintenance, organising couriers, assisting with incoming deliveries, creating key fobs for new starts and setting up meeting rooms.

The ideal candidates will support the wider Operations and Facilities teams on a range of tasks. This position is ideal for entry-level candidates who are proactive, positive, self-motivated and enthusiastic.

Responsibilities:

• Make sure kitchens are prepared every morning and stocked up
• Assist with soft facilities services
• Help set up and organise meetings and company-wide events and provide equipment on request such as flipcharts, arranging air con and other requirements
• Support on special projects such as office moves
• Order office furniture, milk and catering supplies
• Carry out regular inspections around the building and ensure kitchens and meeting rooms are clean and presentable throughout the day
• Provide general assistance to the Operations team and provide cover for breaks and holidays
• Ad hoc duties when required such as building furniture, changing light bulbs etc

Requirements:

• Good communication and organisation skills
• Experience in delivering a consistently high level of customer service is desired
• Adaptable and able to deal with the changing needs of the business
