FX Artist

Job Description

We are looking for a talented FX Artist who has broad experience in real-time effects and demonstrates interest in emerging trends in this field. As a FX Artist you will be responsible for creating prominent effects in a timely and professional manner.

Daily responsibilities

• Designing realistic simulations of FX assets for characters, environments and gameplay.
• Providing creative and technical input on projects.
• Performing tasks within production schedules while maintaining the highest quality of work.
• Improving project quality and productivity.
• Working in partnership with other departments while creating and implementing FX assets.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in the gaming industry (or demonstrated equivalent visual effects ability).
• Great understanding of natural phenomena.
• Experience with creating a wide variety of game-ready effects.
• Experience in Photoshop or similar 2D software.
• General understanding of shader programming languages
• Outstanding creativity and a very strong commitment to a project.
• Excellent communication and problem solving skills.
• Good attitude towards receiving feedback and exchanging knowledge.
• Ability to communicate in English.

Nice to have

• Good general knowledge of 3ds Max.
• Good Houdini Pyro or FumeFX knowledge.
