FP&A Analyst (FTC)

We are seeking a highly motivated FP&A Systems Analyst to work as a Fixed Term Contractor over a 6- month period. The focus of the role will be to support the Finance Business Partners across all cost areas of the business; by developing robust value add reporting and decision support for our leadership and business teams across King. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing consistent reporting, making sense of big data sets, and assisting with financial planning and analysis activities, e.g. forecast cycles.
Your key responsibilities:
- Establish credibility within the Cost FP&A team, fostering a culture of integrity and providing supportive challenge and insight
- Redesign and develop routine and ad hoc reporting for all cost areas across ABK in a form that accurately and clearly articulates the key financial points, provides insight and decision support
- Review and define process and system differences between BUs and identify synergies, gaps and improved ways of working
- Work with systems teams to input into development and improvement projects
- Support ad hoc projects and business cases as they arise
Skills to create thrills
You should have experience of financial planning and reporting processes together with understanding the full range of cost drivers within the business to identify opportunities to improve performance.
- Part Qualified / Qualified accountant desirable (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Advanced excel skills (up to macro level) with extensive experience in building dynamic financial models to assist in automation of BAU reporting and ad hoc decision support
- Advanced Powerpoint and Data Visualisation skillset to support reporting and presentation improvements
- Proven experience in a similar position, including experience of forecast preparation and related reporting
- Comfortable with big data sets
- Able to handle change in a fast- paced environment
- Strong work ethic and commitment to seeing tasks through to completion
- Fluent communication skills in both written and spoken English
- Experience using Hyperion
