Senior External Producer
This is an opportunity to help create a new function within Hutch, taking responsibility for production processes within this team. This position would help to shape the department and future ways of working to build projects from the ground up. This role is about establishing relationships and using your expertise and experience with teams across Hutch. Using your knowledge of production philosophy, culture, and relationships with key stakeholders to ensure the delivery of new games from a newly formed team.
Working closely with the COO, XDev Game Directors & XDev Art Director to ensure that the vision for each external project is realised.
Responsibilities
- Managing third-party relationships, roadmaps, milestones, resources, team velocity, budgets and releases
- Orchestrate release timelines that ensure that every day, week, month and year has great content for our players to enjoy
- Understanding and coordination of multiple disciplines’ needs - Marketing, UA, Licensing, Community, QA, CS & Platform etc.
- Identification and control over project risks and timelines, with an ability to accurately forecast any obstacles and remove roadblocks
- Delivering on all aspects of launch processes and live operations
- Evaluation of potential partners, including market research, design philosophy and production values
- Work with external & internal teams to determine production scope, priorities and eventual adjustments
Requirements
- Previous production experience (or equivalent) in video games, preferably as via working with an external developer on Mobile, Console or PC games.
- An understanding of the mobile F2P business & mobile development.
- Strong emotional intelligence and a genuine interest in caring about your team and ensuring that people come first over project goals.
- Expertise in publishing and shaping games by external partners
- Great communication skills to communicate with the team and across the studio as well as partner studios
- Strong interest and belief in data-driven approach to support and validate intuitions
- A good facilitator - able to see opportunities and solutions where others see problems
