Sledgehammer Games, the developer of numerous award-winning games, including Call of Duty: WWII, Advanced Warfare, and Modern Warfare 3 is seeking a Lead Build Engineer. We are actively recruiting engineering talent to work on developing the Call of Duty engine technology. This is a great opportunity to work with a passionate engineering team and help shape cutting-edge industry technology.
Your Mission:
- Develop & maintain CI Tools and Framework
- Manage and optimize existing build/asset pipeline and Continuous Integration systems
- Participate in the scheduling, design, performance and code review process
- Work with IT to maintain and deploy new VM instances
- Assist other departments with adhoc engineering tasks
- Find ways to make the work process more efficient and effective.
- Co-develop and collaborate with other Activision studios
- Document software and features for internal and external engineering teams
- Participate in the scheduling, design, performance and code review process
- Report to Lead Build Engineer
Player Profile:
- Proficiency in C#, Python, and Batch Files
- Knowledge of CI solutions, e.g.: Jenkins, Hudson, Bamboo
- Knowledge of Version Control systems & branching, e.g: Perforce, Git, Mercurial, etc.
- Ability to quickly understand and work with internally and externally developed code
- Strong problem solving/troubleshooting skills
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Ability to collaborate, coordinate, communicate and support other team members
Bonus XP:
- Bachelor's degree in a Computer Science, Engineering, or Math ideal
- Familiarity with release processes for consoles, mobile or applications
- 8+ years programming experience
- Previous game technology experience; engine programming, pipeline architecture, tools, etc.
- Experience with task tracking software (DevTrack, Hansoft, Jira, etc)
- Experience with Puppet, Docker
- Experience with Powershell
- Experience with Linux, CentOS & Ubuntu
- Distributed build system experience; e.g. Incredibuild, SN-DBS.
- A working knowledge of JavaScript, Jinja, Flask, and other web technologies
- Experience with Virtualization (vSphere, proxmox, docker)
