The Role
As part of FIFA, the ultimate purpose of UX Design team is to be a catalyst for meaningful and impactful innovation and change. It's going to work in support and evolution of the overall FIFA business and teams and its goal is to provide the technological and experiential capabilities to build the FIFA of tomorrow. You will report to the UX Director and be a part of a centralized UX Design team.
You will craft user interfaces through modern user experience practices as a part of our central UX discipline. We're looking for someone who enjoys solving complex problems and approaches them with systematic thinking, understanding of player motivations, and rigor . Responsibilities:
- Establish a vision through intuitive designs, user-flows, interaction patterns, and user end-to-end flows that will guide guide development and research
- Understanding of modern interaction design practices, use of typography, the psychology of color, layouts, and up-to-date trends in the digital world
- Determine problem spaces and lead design solutions rooted in player data
- Promote a design process and methodologies that support player-centered game development
- Champion usability and accessibility
- Contribute to UX Design Library of macro and micro interactions
- Guide the discovery of new kinds of experiences that contribute to the product
Qualifications:
- A portfolio of delivered projects, games, and other digital experiences
- Expert knowledge of usability principles and techniques, interaction design and design patterns
- The ability to translate qualitative and quantitative player data into design solutions and design strategy
- Harvest feedback through rapid iterative prototyping (klick through flows, storyboard, etc)
- Mastery of design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Flinto, etc.
- 4+ years of experience (or equivalent) in interaction design, game design, product design, or related field
- Experience working in a dynamic distributed team setting
