Executive Producer

As Executive Producer you will be responsible for opportunities and offshoots for new games which extend the RuneScape franchise. You have a strong balanced mix of business, technical and game production leadership experience.

Working with both senior leadership and executive team members you will identify, incubate and launch new titles which are adjacent and complimentary to our core first party titles, RuneScape and Old School.

You will refine the vision of the studio for the franchise opportunities through research, business planning, production and partnerships. A creative, commercial and strategic thinker, an entrepreneur with a great sense of what it takes to make truly compelling and successful live games.

You will define effective strategies for new game franchise extensions, working with Jagex teams to translate those objectives into achievable operational goals and business plans.

Key Duties Include:

• Assess opportunities for franchise development, create business justification breakdown of opportunities into clear, understandable formats for presentation at studio, executive and board level.
• Analysis of new title initiatives based on internal and external tech architecture, new or established processes, content, capabilities and market opportunity.
• Be comfortable with ambiguity and fluidity, comfortable interpreting requirements from a range of sources and translating those into actionable plans with specific business outcomes and operational objectives.
• Work with other internal Jagex teams to support in auditing capabilities of potential external studio development partners, assess the requirements and risks of projects based on such due diligence.
• Act as the connecting anchor point between internal business units and external partner studios.
• Ensure that milestones are delivered on-time, on-budget and complete as per the approved development plan, and that the mile-stone submissions maintain alignment with the established franchise plan.
• Responsible for helping studio deliver against the RuneScape franchise vision, this includes identifying key risks or gaps and developing plans to mitigate them.

Essential Skills:

• Extensive experience with internal and external development, shipping global games (PC/console) through entire product development lifecycle (Concept/Launch/LiveOps).
• Proven ability to break strategies down into a plan for execution.
• Team player, highly organized, self-motivated, detail oriented, with the ability to follow through on action plans and ideas.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, diplomacy, balanced decisiveness, clarity in judgment and establishing of priorities.
• Demonstrate sound decision-making based on data analysis, market knowledge and personal judgment.
• Extensive and direct experience managing cross-disciplinary game teams, showing a wide range of leadership, motivation and management skills.
• Thorough understanding of all game production models, managing complex product-level P&Ls, meeting and exceeding revenue target goals.
