Vela Games is looking for a talented Executive Assistant to support the Leadership team of a fast growing Games company.

We’re looking for someone who wants to be part of the core foundation of Vela Games; someone who is passionate about being part of an early tight-knit team laser-focused on creating a great company and our first game. The Executive Assistant (EA) is a strategic partner to the CEO and wider Executive Team, and will be heavily engaged in facilitating the day-to-day activities. This role will not only partner with the entire Vela team, but will also interact with external partners -- representing our brand.
The EA will thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess a high level of professionalism and confidentiality, and have strong experience (and intuition!) on ensuring that the wider team keeps momentum on critical work-streams that require engagement of leadership.

What You Will Do:
- Manage all day to day administrative tasks for the CEO and other executives from time to time. This includes calendar management, email inbox management, travel and expense management, note-taking, meeting preparation + follow up, and general administrative duties.
- Act as a thought partner to the leaders to strategically align their calendar with their priorities.
- Assist and/or own content creation, including drafting emails, agendas and presentations.
- Provide support for a variety of project-related work. This includes preparing reports for quarterly business reviews and interacting with key external partners.
- Manage both internal and external Board and Advisory commitments.
- Represent the organization to internal and external stakeholders.
- Complete other duties and special projects as assigned.
Requirements:
- A number of years relevant experience supporting senior level executives in an administrative capacity via email, scheduling, and travel using GSuite products.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication, including the ability to present effectively.
- Ability to navigate and thrive in ambiguity.
- Incredibly organized and resourceful; able to juggle and multi-task, with an acute attention to detail and follow through.
- Ability to manage and maintain the security of the leaders' email inboxes, in compliance with our code of ethics and data privacy, security, and protection policies.

- You have a university degree in Business or related studies.
- You have previously worked in a startup or high growth company.

Covid-19 Hiring Update: We’ve transitioned to a work-from-home model and we’re continuing to interview and hire during this time. This role is expected to begin as a remote position but transition to full time in Dublin, Ireland at a later date.
