SUMMARY OF POSITION
The primary responsibility of this role is to support the leadership (Sr. Vice President and Vice President) of the Corporate Strategy & Business Development (CSBD) team and others in the CSBD team with day-to-day tasks, schedule management, and project tracking for the department. This highly visible role is a critical part of Nexon’s new Corporate Strategy & Business Development group. Located in Beverly Hills, Nexon’s CSBD group is responsible for worldwide strategic planning, investments, M&A, and corporate development. In this capacity, it partners with senior leadership on many of the highest priority projects and initiatives for the company.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Primarily support the Sr. Vice President of Corporate Strategy & Business Development and the Vice President of Corporate Strategy & Business Development
- The role will also support up to two additional Directors in the CSBD team
- Maintain inbox by reading, drafting, and editing email correspondence
- Manage a complex calendar and scheduling including but not limited to meetings, calls, personal commitments, conferences, and press
- Coordinate with other executive calendars
- Attend meetings and take notes
- Answer and screen calls
- Greet and direct guests within the office
- Make travel arrangements, both domestically and internationally while staying within the guidelines of the travel policies
- Process expense reports
- Handle mail, traffic administrative paperwork and maintain files
- Proofread documents
- Ad hoc assignments and projects, with many requiring specific use of PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
- Constantly looking for ways to improve process and office functionality and ability to be confident in ideas to top level management
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 4+ years of administrative experience, including 2+ years at the executive level (VP or above)
- Excellent scheduling and coordination skills, and comfortable with last-minute changes
- Highly organized and detail oriented with ability to prioritize and perform in a fast-paced environment
- Meticulous attention to detail and ability to solve problems within deadlines
- Ability to anticipate needs and provide high-level support
- Adaptability to working in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment
- Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with executives, internal colleagues, and external clients and tailor communications to the audience
- Sound judgment and ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
- Proactiveness and the ability to follow through with accuracy and thoroughness
- Ability to balance and prioritize multiple tasks, think outside the confines of the problem presented to achieve the desired result, and work independently
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Powerpoint, and Excel required)
