Executive Assistant, Program Management
PlayStation seeks a highly-qualified candidate for the position of Executive Assistant, PMO (Program Management Office). This role will report into the department VP and will direct and lead key areas, including General Administration, Event Management, Program Management, and Departmental Communication. This role can be located in San Francisco or San Mateo.
Responsibilities:
- Manage complex executive calendars and travel schedules
- Complete executive expense reports on a timely basis, including reconciliation of credit card statements to reimbursements
- Support planning and logistics for onsite and offsite meetings, trainings, and special events for the department
- Liaise effectively with Executive Assistant counterparts and build strong working relationships with a wide range of company partners at all levels, as well as with vendors and industry contacts
- Manage timely flow of information, submit approval forms, obtain signatures and authorizations
- Perform general office duties as required, in collaboration with Facilities and IT departments as appropriate
- Continually improve processes and procedures to reduce work time and cost without compromising work quality
- Serve as helpful knowledge base for staff within the organization, especially regarding process and procedures
- Convey a professional image of the PMO to people inside and outside the company
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of administrative experience or relevant work experience
- Bachelors’ Degree required and/or meaningful work experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google G Suite (especially Excel, PowerPoint, Google docs, sheets, and slides)
- Expert experience with digital calendaring, electronic expense reimbursement systems, as well as electronic finance and accounting systems
- Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, learn rapidly and master diverse technologies and techniques quickly.
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral
- Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality/discretion
- Process-oriented, with attention to detail and ability to prioritize
- Ability to work effectively with diverse groups as well as independently
- Aptitude to work independently on difficult projects with minimal supervision
- Strong interpersonal skills, with a friendly, outgoing, and flexible manner
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Japanese language proficiency and working experience required.
- An interest in interactive entertainment and Sony products
