Executive Assistant (Bilingual Japanese), Office of the CEO

Executive Assistant - Bilingual Japanese, Office of the CEO

Do you love multi-tasking? Do you have experience supporting executive teams and keeping them organized? Are you business fluent in English and Japanese?

We are looking for a dynamic Executive Assistant to support Executive leaders including the VP of Business Management. You will partner with key stakeholders across the organization and collaborate with the senior staff members of Sony Interactive Entertainment. You are a dedicated individual and will handle all areas of administrative support.

Responsibilities:

PROCESS: You are detail oriented and can work independently on difficult projects with minimal supervision.

PEOPLE: Strong communication skills, both written and verbal in English and Japanese. You have experience working with all levels of internal management and individual contributors. Maintain professional communications with internal partners, external customers and vendors as required.

TECHNICAL: Advanced skills and experiences with MS Office Applications (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) are required. You don't shy away from working with enterprise operations applications such as expense, budget, and timecards. Ease with web based applications and email clients.

• Manage complex calendars and agendas in multiple time zones
• Complete and track expense reports in a timely manner
• Coordinate group functions and individual meetings, including reserving conference rooms, ensuring proper A/V equipment and ordering food when required
• Sort and distribute incoming mail
• Mail items (small shipments as well as mass mailings)
• Order office supplies
• Attend Admin team meetings
• Support the Global Division meetings and maintain the forum’s documentation archive
• Arrange both international and domestic travel

Qualifications:

• Bilingual (English, Japanese) is required
• At least seven years of executive assistance experience within a large organization, supporting executive leadership in a VP role or above
• Ability to work in a fun and active fast paced environment
• Bachelors’ Degree required and/or relevant work experience
• Experience within one of the Sony entities is highly desired
• Interest in high-tech and/or entertainment industry a plus
