Introduction:
AppLovin is seeking a highly skilled and creative Events and Brand Associate, Marketing to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a vital part in the development and management of branded collateral, while also providing crucial support for internal company events. Your passion for creativity and strategic thinking will be essential as you impact our global community.
Responsibilities:
- Branded Collateral Development, Production and Distribution:
- Collaborate with external and internal partners to conceptualize and produce creative branded swag solutions which enhance event experiences. Project examples include: global holiday gifting for employees and clients, conference swag
- Ensure all collateral adheres to brand guidelines
- Provide cost-effective and culturally-appropriate solutions without compromising quality
- Example: client gift solutions for restricted delivery zones worldwide
- Develop plans for global distribution to team members, clients and partners
- Co-manage annual global swag budget
- Provide guidance and support to internal teams regarding brand standards and proper logo usage
- Assist in establishing a new hire swag program for partner or acquired teams
- Internal Event Support:
- Collaborate with event stakeholders to determine event requirements and objectives.
- Contribute ideas to enhance event experiences and create meaningful and engaging employee experiences for our in-office and distributed teams worldwide.
- Project examples include: diverse cultural and family-friendly celebrations, department offsites, and global holiday celebrations.
- Lead regional employee events in North America
- Provide comprehensive support in the planning and execution of events, with a primary focus on logistics management. Tasks include venue selection, guest list management, equipment setup, and scheduling.
- Manage event budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-effective solutions while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Coordinate with external suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of event-related materials and services.
- Coordinate employee event details including travel arrangements, websites, and other details
- Support all attendee communications and email comms
- Provide occasional onsite or remote support for global offsite events
- Special projects as needed:
- Manage incentive programs such as sports and concert events
- Organize event assets and resources sheets
- Mentor marketing events intern
Requirements:
- 3+ years experience in the event industry
- A creative eye, with a passion for designing stylish gifts and producing memorable events
- The ability to meet goals and deadlines in a collaborative and fast-paced environment
- Experience managing multiple tasks and projects under timelines and shifting priorities
- Strong understanding of branding principles and the ability to apply them consistently
- Ability to forecast, accurately track and manage large-scale budgets, including ability to refute charges and negotiate contracts
- Outstanding interpersonal skills including professional, solutions-oriented communication
- Exceptional organizational, project, time management, and people skills
- Self-motivated and proactive, with a passion for continuous learning and professional development.
- Proficient in Google Workspace, with advanced abilities in spreadsheets
- Must be willing to travel to local Bay Area events and occasional events elsewhere.
Bonus Points:
- Experience with tools like Hubspot, Asana, Slack, Canva, and Indesign
- Experience with event platform, Splashthat
- Interest in the latest mobile and cultural trends
- A passion and interest in promoting diversity, equity, inclusion, and social impact initiatives
AppLovin provides a competitive total compensation package with a pay for performance rewards approach. Total compensation at AppLovin is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Depending on the position offered, equity, and other forms of incentive compensation (as applicable) may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to dental, vision, and other benefits.
Bay Area pay range
$78,000 — $122,000 USD
