Events Producer - Unpublished R&D Product

The Production discipline at Riot helps teams understand the vision of the product, and how we’re going to get there. We assist in building and delivering experiences beyond our audience's expectations. We’re involved in almost every product you can think of, be it an epic new skin, the Mechs vs. Minions board game, or the internal tools needed by engineers or artists to speed up their craft. Whatever the calling, we identify and deliver the solution that our audience needs.

As an Events Producer, you’ll report directly into the Product Manager on this Unpublished R&D Product. In this role, You will focus on creating live content for launch and post-launch. This role is a rounded producer role. You will need to define or own the product strategy, execute on all elements of delivery, and continually optimize and improve the product.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a cross-disciplinary team delivering around-game player experiences on a frequent cadence.
• Manage stakeholders and collaborate with teams across Riot and outside.
• Use and improve work systems that support effective sustainable work across multiple teams
• Regularly assess the team's maturity, health, and composition, relentlessly striving for team cohesion and delivery excellence
• Create transparency and predictability across multiple teams via story mapping, roadmaps, sprint plans, burn-downs, cycle times, value stream maps and release reports
• Drive for continuous improvement for yourself and your teams

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years of project management experience in tech or related industries
• Strong negotiation skills, with a mix of patience and goal orientation to navigate complex cultural, technology and product requirements.
• Familiarity with agile software development methodologies

Desired Qualifications:

• Bilingual fluency in Mandarin
