Job Description
YOUR DAILY ADVENTURE
Reporting to our Studio Communication Manager, you are the mastermind behind all things events related to Ubisoft Singapore. You create internal events that engage and inspire our team members to be their very best and advance our employer brand at external events whether physical or digital. You’re a logistical genius, the thought of hosting a dinner party excites you, and depending on your friends they either want you to plan their weddings or a bank heist. Perhaps both, at the same time.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Design, lead and execute on effective events to engage our team members and guide culture
- Propose internal and external events, aligned with the wider communications team and our studio strategy
- Input into and take ownership of our quarterly event calendar
- Coordinate with teams to ensure events are integrated with social, external, partners, etc.
- Stay abreast of events related to our studio, project milestones and the global Ubisoft group and ensure we are prepared and engaged with them
- Be an internal champion of studio life and create events that exemplify our studio pillars, values and culture
- Determine KPIs for measuring the success of internal and external events
- Propose and advise on effective ad-hoc events for our ERGs, and taskforce
Qualifications
WHAT YOU BRING
- A passion for video games and video game culture. You might be at odds with yourself as to whether your left-hand home row is ASDF or WASD.
- Background and/or interest in cinematography and photography -- we are a team of creatives and everyone provides input into our edits. You might find that you're our stand-in B-cam operator.
- A technical background is highly preferred -- We work with amazingly talented experts in their field. You won't be expected to code in C++ but if you have before, you'll have deeper insight and be able to tell better stories.
- Familiarity with project management software and frameworks -- At the very least you're a list master, but if you're familiar with Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and tools like Trello, MS Planner, Miro, etc., you'll be ahead of the curve. Proficiency in Office 365 is required.
- A demonstrable, strong eye for detail and superior command of verbal and written English
- Easily adapt to where and who you work with -- we're a dynamic team that works virtually, at home, at the studio, while on film shoots! Our teams work and play across cultures, time zones, pressure, and expertise too.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Background and/or interest in understanding and supporting the progression of societal issues. These include gender diversity, LGBTQI+ rights, unconscious bias, climate change, racial injustice, and sustainability
