What you'll do
Reporting into the Player Experience Program Management team in San Francisco, the Esports Program Manager will be responsible for leading all projects, communications and tools related to program management for the NCSA esports team. The program manager will be required to supervise, organize and maintain forward flow on all programs and projects in conjunction with partners. This will include executing and tracking against marketing plans, facilitating meetings and next steps, ensuring flow of communication for internal AND external Ubisoft teams as well as driving tracking tools and project processes. The program manager will require exceptional organization skills, clear and precise communication skills and be able to adapt quickly in a hyper, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead and execute all operational and tactical project management aspects of Ubisoft's esports programs
- Collaborate with key partners to build, audit, and optimize new and existing operational esports core processes and workstreams
- Lead all program communications across program pillars with internal / external teams (ie. briefs, meetings, recaps, program updates)
- Lead all project tracking tools across program management and marketing
- Lead relationship with marketing and operation partners to ensure information flow and key deadlines are respected
- Centralize and curate all team information (documentation, decks, plans, etc..) through shared document platforms and repository
- Act as primary contact for day-to-day information and updates for partner teams
- Collaborate with esports managers in building all relevant plans and program strategies
- Drive roadmap planning and tracking of overall esports program in alignment with core team
- Assist managers to execute all program operations and marketing efforts (supervising and ensure programs are moving forward in accordance with plans)
- Assist in managing budget trackers and keeping track of budgets across operations and marketing teams
Qualifications
What you bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications
- 3+ years in project or program management
- Experience working with marketing, communications or creative teams
- Strong organizational, project management, and cross-functional coordination skills.
- Adaptation to change quickly and effectively, maintaining a professional attitude and achieve action items through completion.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English, both oral and written.
- Ability to work with creative people.
- A strong team player with strong interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Interacts with colleagues and suppliers in a manner which instills confidence in the organization.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office software
- Understanding of the gaming industry with an interest in esports development
- Must be passionate about video games and gaming culture
- Has a sense of ownership and is conscientious, pro-active and curious in their work
