We are seeking an Esports Producer who will join the Americas Esports Department in Santa Monica, California. We are looking for humble but ambitious, solution-oriented professionals who are decisive and are not afraid to experiment. The Americas Esports Producer will be a key player in producing esports broadcasts and ancillary content, defining the PUBG Esports ecosystem, and elevating the program to the next level. Reporting to the Americas Director of Esports, you will set and continually raise the bar for creative esports content and broadcasts.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the creative elements and storytelling of a yearly schedule of regional competitions and broadcasts
- Work alongside internal and external marketing resources to implement and execute marketing plan
- Oversee and deliver assets against a marketing, content production, and publishing schedule
- Ensure internal and external project teams are delivering according to key deadlines
- Lead all creative aspects of regional esports campaigns including naming, branding, and the design of broadcast assets and marketing materials
- Oversee esports broadcast studio set design and décor and support day-to-day studio operations
- Lead internal and external production crews during pre-production, rehearsals, on-air, and post-production
- Ensure quality control and accuracy throughout all creative assets, music, narratives, and presentations across all regional esports efforts
- Propose ideas and oversee the creation and implementation of new esports broadcast segments and creative content maintaining alignment with overall marketing plans
- Develop creative concepts for opening and closing show segments including, but not limited to, award ceremonies and interviews
- Provide recommendations on improvements for broadcast and content production remaining mindful of budgetary impact
- Implement innovative broadcast technologies and improvements with support from production and broadcast engineering teams
- Act as a primary point of contact with production agencies and third-party partners regarding the creative elements of esports events and broadcasts
- Create, maintain, and share file repositories for all esports creative assets
- Develop and enforce best practices and creative directions for on-camera broadcast talent and esports agencies
- Manage the creation and implementation of run-of-shows and ensure that broadcast obligations are met
- Collaborate with business development teams to create unique opportunities for sponsorship activations and integrations
- Coordinate the transmission of clean feeds for localization with international broadcast partners
- Travel internationally to support and experience global esports events and meet with internal and external partners

Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of live broadcasting and content production experience including live event experience
- Deep knowledge of the esports industry and esports production workflows
- Sharp attention to detail and meticulous organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to work in an ambiguous environment and collaborate across multiple departments and stakeholders to achieve a common objective
- Proven ability to create, organize, prioritize, and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
- Intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Suite
- Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally for extended periods of time
