Job Description

As Ubisoft is growing its esports efforts on Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege, the EMEA esports team is looking for a talented League Ops Manager to pursue this growth and take Rainbow Six Siege to the tier 1 of esports. This role will also allow the candidate to work on other exciting projects.

You will be at the heart of the EMEA Esports team, where you’ll be able to work, and exchange with other experts in their fields : Esports Communications Managers, Esports Marketing Managers, Broadcaster Managers etc.

Your missions will be:

· League Operations Strategy

o Ensure the quality of the Rainbow Six Scene programs of your region.

o Ensure the quality of the local esports scenes and ensure that they are in-line with the regional programs & vision.

o Maintain a deep understanding of the different worldwide ecosystems: esports, sports and entertainment.

· League Management

o Coordinate the project with our partner and be the main point of contact for all League Ops matters.

o Be the main point of contact for all the administration & management topics pertaining to all our different Regional leagues (Pro, Nationals and Grassroots).

o Follow the leagues & tournaments on a weekly basis and provide the local teams with all the information for the coverage (schedules, links, feeds etc.)

o Responsible for propagating the ruleset for competitive play (at all levels).

o Ensure the global alignment with the local teams :

§ be the main support & consultant in their efforts to develop their programs.

§ Develop the formats

§ Applying the rulebook

§ Broadcasting schedule

§ Competitive schedule

o Be responsible for the regional esports budget.

· Reporting

o Share all the weekly League Ops issues (players reports etc.)

o Share the results of all our leagues internally on a weekly basis

o Be responsible for the statistics reports (viewership) of all National Championships and ensure that they are delivered in timely manner

o Develop and build post-mortems following regional seasons, Finals, and local competitions

o Develop weekly reports covering the rival competitions & esports

Qualifications

Graduated from a Business School or University, you have at least 2 years’ experience in esports. You have already demonstrated achievements in a fast-paced international work environment and have proven solid project leadership.

You have a deep knowledge of the video games industry and more precisely of Esports.

You must be extremely rigorous but also creative. You are also able to make new proposals and have very good interpersonal skills.

Additional Information

Position available starting September.

This position is based in Montreuil Sous Bois (Métro Porte de Montreuil - line 9, or St Mandé - line 1).
