Job Description
This position will be responsible for maintaining existing process equipment, fixtures and developing best practices to reduce equipment downtime. Candidates must determine, order and maintain spares/fixture and tooling required for maintenance. Candidates must be highly innovative and enjoy working in a dynamic and creative environment within a multidisciplinary team. This job will be done on 1 st , 2 nd and 3 rd shift. The ideal candidate will be expected to work any shift and be flexible.
Responsibilities:
- Perform on time preventative maintenance of multiple toolsets and write the corresponding procedures and checklists
- Manage spare parts for PMs
- Perform fixture ordering and write the corresponding procedures
- Perform fixture rework and write the corresponding procedures
- Perform and manage the rotation of fixtures and write the corresponding procedures
- Work with Engineers and Technicians to qualify new fixtures
- Characterize all fixtures by technical cad drawing and CMM measurements
- Tracking all fixtures and building a Kanban for each fixtures
- Collect data to determine and schedule fixture lifetime and replacements
- Document and report results of maintenance activities
Qualifications:
- High volume Manufacturing Experience
- Preventative Maintenance Experience
- Corrective Maintenance Experience and Out of Control Action plans/Troubleshooting/Response Flows written to deal with said corrective maintenance
- Expertise in writing SOPs, Checklists, OCAPs/RFCs/Troubleshooting guides
- Gage study knowledge
- Equipment calibration knowledge
- Equipment reliability testing knowledge
- Attention to Details
- Active Participation in Safety
- CAD expertise
- Solidworks expertise
- Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) expertise
- MS Office suite knowledge: Excel, Powerpoint, Word, Access (a must)
- Robot and PLC handson knowledge a plus
- Machine I/O Board knowledge a plus
- Robot maintenance knowledge a plus
- Spares management knowledge
- Pump, motor, hydraulics knowledge
- Rework/Repair expertise a plus
- Lean manufacturing,5S, Workplace Organization knowledge
- Knowledge of statistics, statistical process control, Cpk, %OOC a plus
- Knowledge of JPM a plus
- Knowledge of SQL a plus
- Knowledge of FMEA a plus
Education:
- Minimum Associate degree in a technical field with 2 to 4 years of relevant experience
- Preferred BS or BE in a technical field with 2 to 4 years of relevant experience
