The Role
We’re looking for a talented environment artist to work on “I Am Fish”
Working closely with the Art Lead & team you’ll help shape the vision of the game, and bring the environment concepts & ideas to life, through the creation of a wide range of 3D environmental assets, from individual props to full levels.
I Am Fish
I Am Fish is a larger than life adventure. You're a small fish making your way through a huge, towering, human world to go back home to the ocean.
The prototype version of the game has gained more than 17 million views on Youtube from top influencers such as PewDiePie, DanTDM and Markiplier, as well as over 81,000 hours watched on Twitch.

Responsibilities
- Create a wide range off environmental assets from individual props to full levels, as appropriate;
- Overseeing the consistency of environment art
- Work closely with the Art Lead to insure the visual direction of the game is upheld
- Actively participate in technical and aesthetic problem-solving discussions
- Implement assets effectively into the game engine (from white box to final scenes and lighting).
Requirements
- Industry experience at a professional level
- Experience creating environment art for multiple published video game titles;
- Exceptional understanding of current 3D art techniques and practices, and the ability to quickly and efficiently communicate these to a team in an adaptable, straightforward way;
- Mastery of industry standard creative software such as Maya, Photoshop, Zbrush, Substance,
- Experience with projects using the Unity Engine.
- Creative flair and ability to communicate visual ideas to others quickly and effectively;
- Expert in the creation of high quality, high resolution 3D assets, UV maps, textures, and other content, matching all technical and artistic requirements.
