The role will provide the successful candidate with exposure to a unique organization that delivers digital game development, product development, manufacturing operations, and operates across B2B and B2C profiles.
This position plays a pivotal role within the Group Risk and Audit function, delivering Risk services across Aristocrat, with a major focus on our Business Resilience program. The role is key to the protection of Aristocrat’s people, operations and customers, and critical to supporting the organization's strategic objectives by Managing Aristocrat’s Business Resilience program, including Crisis Management and Business Continuity.
The successful candidate will be able to manage a diverse set of global risks, multiple competing priorities and senior stakeholders. They will partner closely with many cross-functional stakeholders globally to develop and implement a risk and resiliency strategy and evaluate their management of risks.
The Manager – Enterprise Risk Management will report to the Director – Enterprise Risk Management and based on the global nature of the role will operate across multiple business units and time zones and require some travel (once it is safe to resume) to ensure satisfactory execution of responsibilities.What You'll Do
- Be the driving force behind Aristocrat’s Business Resilience Program, working closely with key stakeholders across the entire organisation to ensure the Business Resilience Framework is adopted and that Resilience plans are current and effective.
- Assist leadership in implementing Business Resilience strategies when crisis situations arise.
- Lead Business Resilience training sessions, workshops, and Business Impact Analysis assessments.
- Maintain and continuously improve an integrated Business Resilience Framework and work on risk management strategies which ensure the Group’s major risks and opportunities are understood and managed to support sound decision making and high standards of governance.
- Manage Arstocrat’s Crisis Communications system, including providing regular training sessions to the organisation.
- Support the creation of a risk and resilience culture which ensures both value creation and value protection by demonstrating the value of risk management, educating the business and finding opportunities to integrate risk principles into our ways of operating.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of Aristocrat’s Risk Management Framework (including policy, risk appetite statement, risk and opportunity management support guide, risk registers).
- Partner with the business to monitor emerging risks and extend risk management principles into the wider business strategy, including supporting the business with robust risk assessments for key strategic/operational initiatives.
- Assist in the implementation of technology solutions to support risk management and the Business Resilience Program.
- Proactively look for improvement opportunities to enhance Risk program performance including implementing process improvement initiatives, technology and automation.
- Partner with management teams to drive insight, challenge, and advise on risk and control matters to help deliver the business’s strategy.
- Engage with key stakeholders including ESC and Senior Management to present Risk outcomes, and as a risk and controls and resilience subject matter expert.
- Prepare reports for Board Audit Committee, Board and ESC on an as needs basis.
What We're Looking For
- A minimum of five years’ of applicable experience.
- Engaged with senior leaders on a regular basis.
- Led key risk management work streams at prior organisations.
- Worked in a global organisation with multi-regional experience/responsibility.
- Deep experience in Enterprise Risk Management and Business Resilience.
- Managed multiple stakeholders and multiple deliverables across tight deadlines.
- Experience in gaming/technology organisations would be favourably viewed.
- Provided advice and thought-leadership to leaders versus a compliance only approach.
- Strong working knowledge of business operations, processes and governance.
- Resilient, steadfast in their views and always independent and objective.
- A strong communicator with an ability to translate technical and detailed information into a clear and easy to understand message and influence across all levels of the organisation.
- A critical thinker and able to challenge the status quo and drive change.
- Proactive and organised and able to work in a fast-paced team environment providing consistent, high quality output.
- Persistent and dedicated to get the outcome that’s beneficial for both Aristocrat and internal customers.
- High moral standing and ethics.
