About the engineering team:

At Strivr, our engineering teams develop immersive experience software and a cloud-based software platform that powers the creation, management, and experience of immersive learning with a unique level of insights and predictive analytics. The platform is scalable, secure, and compliant which is critical to making our customers and users successful on our platform. The engineering team is distributed and located in offices in Seattle and Palo Alto. About the position:

We configure and provision thousands of VR headsets and mini Linux machines for deployment to our customers in the Fortune 1000. Are you ready to help us transform the way that we do it? Our provisioning systems today help us configure and ship thousands of devices, but we’re looking to scale up in a big way, taking further advantage of the cloud, while partnering with our hardware partners and customers. You’ll help us transform our licensing, authentication, and provisioning software along the way, while leading a talented team of software engineers, partnering with other departments in Strivr, and listening to our customers.

We’re looking for a talented Engineering Manager to lead this team within our Core Platform. You are passionate about cloud services, building a high-performance and collaborative team, and leading the team to develop secure, scalable, and reliable systems and platforms.

You will be responsible for tactical execution by the team, helping to coordinate activities such as sprint planning, design reviews, and project planning. In addition, you will be responsible for hiring and coaching world-class talent for your team. You will work with engineering leadership to establish hiring targets and priorities for the team and help find and recruit talent for these positions. You will mentor engineers and help them grow along their career paths, identifying and growing talent for technical leadership roles. You will be responsible for helping engineers set goals for individual growth, including reviewing and delivering performance feedback to engineers.

You will mentor and grow developers, be technically involved, participate in hiring, grow your team, and manage several projects. Our technology stack includes: .NET Core, ASP.NET Core, Postgres, React, and with cloud services deployed in the Google Cloud Platform over Kubernetes.
