We are seeking a seasoned Engineering Manager & Delivery Lead to guide the teams within the Blockchain & Infrastructure pillar of our new AAA game project, Project Awakening. This pivotal role plays a crucial part in ensuring the successful delivery of a truly exceptional product. The position is on-site in our Reykjavik office.
Your Tasks
- Foster and support high performance within the teams of the Blockchain & Infrastructure pillar, focusing on smooth operation and effective communication.
- Coordinate and conduct recurring activities such as standup meetings, retrospectives, planning sessions, and task breakdowns.
- Proactively champion tool, process, and culture improvements, courageously challenging any norms found detrimental to the team's performance, quality of work, engagement, and wellbeing.
- Lead teams of technology professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback.
- Strategically ensure projects are planned to meet high quality standards, while being delivered on time and within budget.
Your Profile
- Relevant university degree, such as in Project Management or Software Engineering.
- Proven experience in leading, managing, and coaching multi-disciplinary software development teams.
- Solid experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Unwavering commitment to high-quality products and outstanding user experiences.
- Fluency in English, as a native speaker or second language.
