As the manager of the App Ops team you will oversee the ecosystem that our engineers rely on to create the Roblox application experiences. The goal of the team is to make Roblox application development an outstanding experience.
App Ops is a growing team that covers tools creation, workflow automation to App Store deployments. The team is in charge of the CI/CD pipelines that provide the engineering output to App Stores worldwide including iOS, Android, Windows, Mac, Xbox and more. The team creates the testing frameworks that are rapidly promoting test automation. We are looking for someone to expand the team to cover new areas of technological investment so that Roblox app engineers can be efficient.
You Are:
- A people manager with experience in building great teams
- Have experience working with mobile App Stores and managing the release partnership with 3rd party platforms
- Expertise with CI/CD concepts and practices that can improve our ability to provide to multiple stores in parallel
- Understand automated software testing principles and popular frameworks
- Passionate about working on systems that have a large impact
- An excellent organizer and can work with many other teams
- Experience in tracking and bringing many different work streams to their completion
You Will:
- Provide visions for the team and influence other dependent teams for adoption
- Create the roadmap for the team. Oversee and deliver the projects through all stages of the lifecycle to completion
- Hire engineers and grow them into the best versions of themselves
- Track and develop metrics to determine the success of the team and help other teams track their success
