THE ROLE:
Our studio is looking for an Engineering Lead who is passionate about cultivating a strong, healthy and collaborative engineering team for our unannounced, original Co-op RPG. This individual will be responsible for building internal teams, guiding development, communicating and collaborating with multiple disciplines, and bringing our exciting game to a growing and passionate community.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Build & support a team of engineers to empower them to do their best work.
- Work closely with multiple disciplines to plan & scope features.
- Manage & be responsible for external tech partnerships to help scale our capabilities beyond our studio team members.
- Manage and communicate risks and tradeoffs of different engineering approaches, features, architectures, and possible solutions for what can seem insurmountable goals.
- Drive knowledge sharing within and outside the engineering department.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience managing the shipping of at least 2 games from pre-production to ship.
- Experience building and managing technical teams through the production of at least 2 games.
- Minimum of 7 years of related or equivalent engineering experience.
- Experience working with and managing cross-discipline teams within video games.
- Highly proficient in C++.
PREFERRED SKILLS:
- Experience with the Unreal Engine.
- Experience developing for multiplayer online action games.
- Experience with other languages C#, Javascript, Python.
- Experience with dev tools and build environments (Jenkins, cMake, etc.).

Compensation:
- This is a full-time, benefits-eligible, exempt (salaried) position.
- The full salary range for this position is $197,200 - $305,600 per year. The upper third of the salary range is typically reserved for existing employees who demonstrate strong performance over time. When an offer is made, many factors are considered, such as your unique experience and skills, where you live, where the work will be performed, what similar jobs pay, internal equity, and what you're looking for.
- In addition to base pay, employees in this role may be eligible for additional incentives, such as a sign-on bonus and short- and long-term incentives. Incentive compensation is not guaranteed.
