Player First Games is building best-in-class online game experiences for a passionate playerbase. Each member joining our team will have a significant impact on the direction of the game and the growth of the company.

This position is open to L.A. Metropolitan Area residents only and is currently remote.

Priorities can often change in a fast-paced environment like ours, therefore this role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:

Responsibilities

• Responsible for resolving internal technical challenges, system maintenance, and supporting employees with technology needs & troubleshooting.
• Administering and supporting IT-related installation, updates, maintenance & delivery.
• Hardware and office equipment planning and purchasing.
• Assist with new user profile setups, PC's/Laptops/Software.
• Coordinate with third-party vendors to provide the best possible product & support to end-users.
• Assist in researching products and services as necessary.
• Perform related duties as assigned or requested.
• Ability to move or lift heavy objects, weighing up to 50 lbs.

Skills

• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Communication and collaboration skills.
• Video and social media savvy.

Experience

• 3 years of IT experience.
• Extensive desktop support experience.
• Understands network, application, and infrastructure security concepts such as least rights access controls, malware/antivirus, data integrity, threat/intrusion detection, etc.
• Understands core networking, firewalls, switches, router configuration, and optimization.
• Perforce administration experience required.

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of IT experience.
• Experience with cloud-based IT environments and enterprise systems (Gsuite, JIRA, Favro, etc.).
• Gaming industry experience is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, preferred.
