EngineerSummary
Your role in our team will require you to:
• Extract test requirements from user stories or via discussions with software developers and product managers
• Converting requirements into Test Scenarios and Test cases
• Preparing and maintaining Test setups, execute test cases, analyze results, and troubleshoot issues.
• Hands on Experience on Bug Logging Tools and Bug Reports.
• Assist in recreating issues reported from the field.
• Demo the feature/user story to Product Owner for acceptance.
• Verify the fixes/new features and analyze the impact to identify the modules needed to be regression tested.
• Strong experience in Functional, Compatibility and Regression Testing.
• Work with cross functional stakeholders and teams in other geographic locations. This includes being flexible with hours to accommodate other time zones.
• You will design, implement, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test configurations, as well as provide hands-on hardware configuration and test execution for 100% compliance with internal audits.
• Participate in day-to-day processes like estimating and grooming in stand-ups.
• Automating the test case using the provided framework
• Daily report creation and test metrics for stakeholder updates.
• Track defects and actively participate in defect triage meetings.
• Review and ensure complete test coverage of Regression test suite.
• You will provide technical assessments on features and identify scope of work and dependencies to meet test requirements.What You'll Do

What We're Looking For
- Prior experience of black box testing of embedded application on Linux or Windows operating system
- Experience in Database and SQL queries.
- Embedded QA role experience in Scrum/Kanban team involving close interaction with developers.
- Has knowledge of Software Quality Assurance concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Has knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude
- Experience working tools such as Testrail, JIRA/Zephyr, confluence and any programming language.
- Experience using version control systems (ex: SVN)
- ISTQB - Foundation Level (preferred)
- Exposure to automation.
- Devops, Jenkins (optional)
