About Us
LiquidX Studio is a gaming development studio with the goal to produce an open-world AAA game called Pixelmon.

We are based in Singapore and Malaysia with many of our team collaborating remotely from countries like New Zealand, Spain, Indonesia, and Brazil. With large backing from our recently raised funding round, we aim to create an entirely unique experience with immersive gameplay and extensive lore that will wow all gamers.

The Challenges

In this position, you are responsible for helping the Pixelmon team to enhance and maintain our game. You will keep the players' experience in mind as you dive into rendering systems and engine features to support our games.

• Work on maintaining our version of Unreal Engine 5.
• Be responsible for updating our engine with the latest patches.
• Communicate with the team about new engine changes and their importance.
• Resolve engine level bugs that our team faces.
• Work to monitor and increase the performance of the game engine.
• Write robust, maintainable code

Requirements

• Experience: Unreal engine experience with 3+ years’ experience and preferably 4+ years’ experience as a software programmer.
• Technical Knowledge. Strong grasp of C++ and memory management. Talent for building robust, extensible, maintainable systems.
• Strong math skills and creativity in problem-solving.
• Ability to work under uncertainty and get stuff done.
• Education. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data science, information technology, statistics or related field.
• Shipped Games. Worked on and shipped at least 1 game title while working on the game engine.
