Your Mission
As an Employee Research Student Affiliate, you will leverage employee sentiment data to test hypothesis and produce prescriptive insights in the reports and dashboards you will develop. As a member of the People Analytics team, the Employee Research Student Affiliate will work with analysts, scientists, and developers in a highly collaborative environment to deliver business solutions and strategic intelligence to HR experts and business leaders.
The ideal candidate has an excellent analytic skill set and a keen interest in how people performance drives a business. They are collaborative, creative, and able to quickly get to the root of an issue. They create and seize opportunities to win, even when faced with ambiguity, and have a true passion for driving results and impact.
Priorities can often change in a fast-paced environment like ours, so this role includes, but is not limited to , the following responsibilities:
- Integrate best practice and research literature across organizational science to design and launch innovative tools and people metrics to capture the intricacies of organizational behavior.
- Lead program operations for employee lifecycle surveys on Glint and Qualtrics, including: survey configuration, distribution, reporting, access & security, and communications.
- Build various statistical models to determine key drivers of our most important business facing delivery metrics
- Show critical thinking regarding cause and effect relationships across our vast people datasets
- Conduct statistical analysis on bespoke questions to provide deeper understanding from experiences across the employee lifecycle.
- Support with developing and testing hypotheses related to relationships between employee experience factors and organizational outcomes
- Design and deliver operational BI dashboards
- Supports analytics for the Lifecycle and Engagement Surveys and reports out on results and opportunities in action-oriented manner
- Assist with development of full employee lifecycle metrics at understanding the entire employee experience from application to exit
- Collaborate on developing employee research ethics policy and manage confidentiality documentation
- Develop training materials and run training sessions for in-house clients on how to use survey software and interpret survey results.
- Manage and expand in-house survey item library and benchmark library
- Assist with survey and design testing and validation using Amazon
Player Profile
Requirements:
- Current graduate student in Organizational Development, Organizational Behavior, Business Analytics, or Industrial-Organizational Psychology.
- Must be proficient in:
- Conducting literature reviews
- Psychometrics (e.g. validity, reliability, criterion theory, measurement theories)
- Survey methods
- Quantitative and Qualitative research & analysis (sampling)
- Research Ethics
- R or Python
- Basic descriptive and inferential statistics
- Microsoft Office
- Experience creating PowerPoint presentations to tell a compelling story using data and analytics
- Advanced Excel spreadsheet skills (e.g. Vlookups and Pivot Tables)
- Passion for empirical research and qualitative research
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for coordinating across teams
- Adaptability and ability to learn quickly
- Ability to oversee and deliver across multiple tasks and deadlines
- Integrity, advanced professionalism, and ability to maintain strict confidentiality of company and employee information
