EMPLOYEE COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER

As an Employee Communications Manager, you would be responsible to work at both strategic and tactical levels to manage, create and edit content across multiple platforms and channels with an aim to inform, inspire, and activate global employees. We are looking for a creative storyteller to trailblaze the organizational efforts within the pre-existing 2K structure, while finding new ways to enhance our employees’ experience through more robust communications efforts as we continue to grow and scale. The innovative individual we are looking for will have proven tools for editorial, presentations and project management, and thrive in a highly dynamic environment. This position reports to the Director of Organization Development and works closely with stakeholders at all levels across the company.

What We Need:
2K is looking for an experienced Employee Communication Manager who will help us do it right. You’ll partner with leaders to advise, develop and execute strategic employee communications and engagement plans designed to support key business initiatives, long-term goals, support events and projects related to the company’s employee experience.
What You Will Do:
- Defining and driving strategic communications goals that will increase business alignment and employee engagement globally
- Coordinating communication among the business units, in partnership with our Leaders, to ensure key strategic business goals are communicated in a compelling and aligned manner
- Managing the overarching messaging and content vehicles such as, employee newsletters, announcements, intranet content, etc., while maintaining consistency
- Creating and tracking metrics that show the impact of employee communications and programs on employee engagement, productivity, and organization performance
- Developing and managing new technologies for communicating with internal audiences
- Acting as a ‘Change Management Agent’ and ensuring communication initiatives and programs are flawlessly implemented and executed
- Providing guidance and leadership within teams or projects/initiatives; lead teams and projects that involve cross-functional partners as necessary
- Partnering with Recruiting on the delivery of high-impact, 2K-branded messaging aligned with mission/vision/values
- Managing contracted resources as needed, including creative agencies, event planning firms, graphic designers, etc

You’ll have interest in and experience assisting and constructing a betterment for employees.
- 10+ years working in internal communications and partnering with HR/Talent Development including employee communications and editorial experience, preferably in a fast-paced creative company
- Experience prioritizing communication campaign plans based on strategic value and ability to weigh risks of internal and external factors in guiding and influencing editorial strategy and content development
- Writing and editing skills; ability to write for a broad spectrum of multimedia communications channels. Strong PowerPoint or other presentation platform skills a plus
- Experience with change management and communicating key initiatives across multiple internal target audiences with a diplomatic approach and ability to pick up on, and manage, organizational and cultural sensitivities
- Technology or entertainment industry experience, with specific knowledge and exposure to the interactive entertainment market, is favorable but not required
- Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities and varying personalities with enthusiasm
- Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Public Relations, or related field is required
