We are seeking an Embedded QA analyst to join our growing team. You will work in alongside our QA Lead to address in game issues for our users. The ideal candidate will have some previous experience in gaming, strong communication skills and a desire to work in a fast paced environment.
This is a direct hire, full time opportunity. We are not interested in C2C workers at this time.

Responsibilities
- Maintenance within the bug tracking database as assigned by the QA Lead
- Ownership of major systems on assigned project
- General Unity/Build/Unreal play testing
- Follow through and completion of assigned special tasks and projects by the QA Lead
- Review, revise and create test plans created by QA for accuracy and thoroughness
- Share acquired product knowledge with fellow QA testers
- Apply a proactive approach in the QA Process on a consistent level
- Journeyman testing – Must be able to think outside the scope of the test plan when appropriate (ad hoc testing, documenting negative test cases, etc.)
- Comprehend and execute assigned Test Plans and Projects
- Report verified bugs to the QA Lead and bug database
- Assure patches/updates, new builds and shipped products are functional and operate as intended
- Create Daily Reports on testing progress and status for the QA Lead
- Become proficient at the project assigned
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years working in games or software development industry
- Demonstrated ability to create high and low level test plans from scratch using design documents and release notes
- Advanced knowledge of bug tracking software
- Advanced knowledge of Unity or Unreal a plus
- Demonstrated ability to accurately update QA documents as needed
- Demonstrated ability to answer various testing process/protocol questions. Including, but not limited to: ad hoc test direction, suggested negative test cases, report creation and submission, etc.
- Demonstrated ability to comply with QA Department’s bug writing standards on a consistent level
- Working knowledge of the software development process
- Working knowledge of PC hardware
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Demonstrated ability to comprehend and apply assigned QA manuals and all training materials
- Team player, able to work well with others
- Ability to follow verbal instructions
- Available to work after hours as needed
