You will provide feedback on all levels, from copy-editing and detail-tracking, to high-level notes on story structure and character voice. You’ll also assist in other efforts related to the project, such as project management and adaptation.

Our ideal candidate has a passion for editing fictional works with an understanding of interactive narrative. They are extremely detail-oriented with excellent copy-editing skills and an understanding of good fiction writing that lets them provide strong story and character notes. They are able to understand the unique challenges of interactive fiction and provide feedback specific to the space. They can work on a tight schedule with regular deadlines and balance multiple projects. Finally, they are able to work well with a team of writers, which includes the nuances of balancing feedback with encouraging growth.
