At PUBG Amsterdam, our people are our most important resource. We are currently looking for a highly skilled EMEA Public Relations Manager to join our team in our brand-new Amsterdam office! The ideal candidate will execute communications campaigns that deliver impactful coverage and results across EMEA. In addition to managing PUBG Corporation’s product and esports PR initiatives, you will work in close collaboration with the broader regional and global publishing teams to help transform organizational goals into actionable strategies.

In the Public Relations Manager role, you will:

• Create and execute PR plans under supervision of the EMEA Head of Communications
• Partner with cross-functional regional and global publishing teams to transform goals into actionable strategies
• Serve as a primary PR point of contact for internal teams, external media and partners
• Manage and partner with the EMEA PR agencies for ongoing executional support and reporting duties
• Brief PR materials, including plans, recaps, press distributions, pitch letters, Q&As, fact sheets and proactive/reactive messaging
• Have a deep knowledge and understanding of PUBG, the video game industry and its media landscape
• Obtain earned top-tier coverage by successfully pitching relevant and engaging stories
• Manage reporting and analytics by creating, maintaining and delivering coverage reports and recaps
• Assist in other Publishing & PR activities as required
• Other duties that may be assigned by the company and that would enter the scope of the employee’s qualifications

Our Ideal Public Relations Manager will have:

• Previous relevant experience in Public Relations, preferably within the gaming industry
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher education degree preferred
• Excellent communication skills in verbal and written English
• Outstanding interpersonal and diplomatic skills with the ability to work, adapt, and communicate in a multi-national/multi-cultural environment
• Detail-oriented self-starter with a strong team mentality
• Ability to work on numerous projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
• Media experience a plus
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and analytics tools

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience within an international environment
• Passionate gamer and avid PUBG fan
• Multilingual (Korean, French, German or other European language)
