EA: Development Director – Launch & Release Management

Your mission as Launch Director at EASE Operations.

Your primary objective is to provide the best experience to players, every release. You join our team of project and program managers reporting to the Director of Launch & Release Management at EASE Operations. We work together as a program management team to ensure launches of games developed by European Studios are great.

You create a program environment of mutual trust and accountability where multiple teams across EA collaborate to make each game release an excellent experience for players. Proactive management of schedule and risk and change management are central responsibilities of our team. You work with partners to ensure hurdles and risks are removed before they affect the quality or schedule of the release.

You are a trusted colleague and friend. You join a team that values feedback, are open and inclusive. You easily establish excellent relationships with many different people representing disciplines from across EA globally, including marketing, business development, engineering, quality verification, game development, production and operations to name a few.

You understand that each person has something to contribute. When the need arises, you work with our team and partners to brainstorm resolutions and bring resources to bear on the issue.

What additional qualifications make you a great Launch Director?

3 or more years experience leading project teams

Experience in release and software go to market planning and execution

Positive agent for change

Customer first approach

Create structure and understanding where disorder or ambiguity exist

Fluency in English

Effective even when context switching and balancing multiple activities

What experience separates you from other candidates?

Lead complex projects involving multiple teams.

Delivery management of consumer software

Process ownership and refinement

Work experience involving live service, video game development or service delivery management
