The Global Events Team is looking for an Event Producer. You will drive and execute the strategy, planning and production of high-value in-person and digital events in support of our global brand and campaign objectives. You will support premium, safe, immersive and engaging employee events and conferences as well as marketing-driven events and trade shows. This role requires advanced communication skills, expert project management skills and a strong desire to collaborate with multiple teams and partners.
Responsibilities
- Create and align event plans in partnership with cross-functional teams including Brand, Strategy, Integrated Communications, IT and Security.
- Partner with local territory teams across the globe to deliver event experiences to our global audience.
- Manage digital event platforms and technology.
- Manage a matrix of vendors including creative and video production, streaming partners, transportation and hospitality, AV, IT and security.
- Ensure EA's events are accessible and inclusive to all audiences.
- Facilitate attendee communications and guest experience touch points including event attendee logistics (Know Before You Go) and registration.
- Ensure all events meet objectives, reach metrics and adhere to spending guidelines.
- Negotiate and review contracts, acting as the point of contact for event vendors and internal partners, such as legal and finance.
- Oversee budget tracking to drive operational efficiency.
- Manage event plans and design assets through internal approval process.
- Research new event opportunities.
Qualifications/ Experience:
- Minimum 6+ years experience in event production, marketing or program management.
- Understand event platforms, broadcast and technology.
- Critical thinker who can analyze situations and come up with creative solutions that are compliant with EA policy.
- Able to prioritize and juggle multiple projects at once, always anticipating the next move and needs within the team and for the audience.
- Acreative/clever problem solver who is comfortable making decisions and collaborating with team members. Not afraid to ask questions or raise concerns.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work with numerous remote colleagues and across many different departments within the company and across the globe.
- Entertainment and/or gaming and industry knowledge is a plus.
- Must be willing to travel and work weekends as needed.
